One issue is that we do not currently have enough time for a couples’ date, which was one thing we wanted to incorporate. Rather, we have a simple service from 1000-1100a.m., then finish small groups at 12:00 p.m. and then have a picnic with family and friends at the Imperial Palace Garden. At some point we would love to have a time for couples to walk and talk together about the sermon they have just heard. We may well begin slightly early.
We would love to work together with the launch team over this next year and continue to pray for the LORD to use this open door for the gospel to reach and transform many individuals and families in this Marunouchi area. When we look back on all of the answers to prayer over this past year, we are full of thanks. Please pray for more of our friends and colleagues who are not yet Christian to be engaged and encouraged by this Sunday Service. And please pray for a growing number of people to partner together in this work, to see the Word of the LORD go out in this area and do its powerful work.
