As all of the regular Marunouchi Office Groups (MOGs) meetings, Samurai Projects (SPs) training sessions, and Marunouchi Church Tokyo (MCT) activities have been continuing, the General Administration (ADM) team has been working hard to finish preparing the Tokyo Marunouchi Partnership (TMP) Annual Report for 2025, in order to share with people what the LORD has done through TMP over the past year. This is now available to read, and we hope that you will enjoy it and be encouraged by the LORD through it.
And, for the past two months, four or five of the TMP staff team have been doing workouts in the office at 1600-1630 on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. One of the staff team, Andy Duncan, is a professional Personal Trainer, and so he has written an exercise schedule for the staff team to follow. With the team’s work mainly being people meetings, bible studies and office work, it has been a breath of fresh air to have a thirty-minute team work out each day. We have been doing 20 minutes of weights followed by 10 minutes of cardio exercises, and we hope to get a little more in shape over the year. Interestingly, I have been working on a sermon on 1 Timothy 4:6-16, which includes verses 7b-8:
“train yourself for godliness; for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.”

Finally, at the beginning of June we also had our two-day TMP Annual Staff Team Training. We had sessions including: the history of TMP; doing 1-2-1 pastoral care of businesspeople; sharing together our life journeys; encouragements from and improvements for TMP; physical training as we get older; and training in using a time management application. And the two-day training also gave us a chance to have a leisurely lunch together both days, which was great fun. At lunch on the first day, we went to a nearby restaurant for a delicious meal. The team had prepared a cake with candles to celebrate my birthday, and they gave me a lovely card and some socks to aid the recent workouts. It was a very happy 45th birthday. Thank the LORD for much joy, laughing and fun together, as well as good times of learning and sharing together as a team of nine TMP staff members. Thank you for your prayers, encouragements, and partnership in the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
